Welcome to the Western Province Triathlon Association's (WPTA) website. WPTA is the governing body for the sports of triathlon and duathlon in the Western Cape (South Africa) and aims to promote these multi-sport disciplines through the hosting of regional championship events as well as the sanctioning of privately run events in the province.
WPTA is affiliated to Triathlon South Africa (TSA) - the national governing body for these sports.

The final event of this hugely popular and fun event takes place on 02 November 2008 at Phisantekraal farm. Be there!
NB Triathlon 7 December (Standard and Sprint Distances)
incorporating both fun and standard distance events will be held on 07 December at Elsenburg, diarise this date now (incorporating WP trials). Remember to register with WPTA/TSA before 30 November should you wish to be eligible for possible selection to WP team. See registration procedure on the right column of this page for details.
