Life’s too short for one sport – even in laid-back Cape Town! That’s why the newest kid on the sporting block in the Western Cape, the New Balance Multisport Club (NBMC), is going places. Providing a home for triathletes, runners, cyclists, swimmers and canoeists, NBMC has already tasted its first success and organised its first triathlon, running and cycling events.

Although the majority of members are social participants, a few of the club’s top members include provincial and South African champions. Three cyclists represented South Africa at the World Masters Road Championships in Austria in August this year.

Coaching and development of young athletes is one of the top priorities of NBMC and growing each of the disciplines by introducing newcomers to the sport is a priority.
